From Concept to Final Creation: Three-Part Workshop Series with Ariana Vaeth

In this three-part workshop taught by Milwaukee-based artist Ariana Vaeth, teens and adults learn the process of developing a representational painting from composition and concept to finished artwork. During the first session, participants will compose gestural drawings by working from photographs and observation, with a focus on rendering objects in space. The second and third sessions will offer instruction on transforming initial sketches into a finished oil painting. Vaeth will teach a variety of drawing and painting techniques during this workshop series designed for all artistic stages – no previous painting experience necessary.
