Foundry on 3rd Apartments and Commercial Spaces Set to Start Leasing Process in Downtown Wausau

November 14, 2024

PLUS: Wausau Business Show Will Launch Recruitment Contest to Attract New Residents to the City

T. Wall Enterprises is starting the leasing process with a waitlist for the Foundry on 3rd, a transformative new development to redefine downtown living and business engagement. With a projected opening date of November 1, 2025, The Foundry on 3rd is the first of its kind development in the City of Wausau.

Commercial Opportunities Tailored to Tenants' Vision

The Foundry's ground-floor commercial spaces are designed to foster a vibrant urban lifestyle. Ideal tenants include local boutique retailers, upscale eateries and innovative service providers eager to connect with a dynamic community.

"We aim to partner with unique yet successful businesses that will enhance the area," said Nick Patterson, development manager for T. Wall Enterprises. "On Washington Street, we envision service-oriented businesses such as clothing boutiques, financial services and other service-based companies. On Third Street, there could be restaurants, cafes and lounges."

Businesses will benefit from the flexibility in layout and design, allowing them to create environments that reflect their brand identity. The Foundry on 3rd offers "gray box" spaces that provide tenants with bare stud walls, exposed ceilings and unfinished floors serving as blank canvases that they can tailor to their needs.

For information about commercial leasing opportunities, email retail@twallenterprises.com or call Nick Patterson at (608) 220-8940.

Waitlist Open for City Living

The Foundry is also accepting requests for one, two and three-bedroom apartments featuring modern living spaces designed to meet the demands of today's residents. With a focus on comfort and convenience, these apartments will serve as the ideal home for individuals and families in the heart of the city.

"We offer luxury apartments as well as studio units for young professionals seeking a prime location at affordable prices," said Patterson. "There has already been significant interest in the one- and two-bedroom apartments."

To join the waitlist for residential units, call (608) 575-1018 or visit www.twallenterprises.com.

Development on Track as Weather Cooperates

Construction at The Foundry on 3rd is advancing on schedule, with the south half of the building already framed to three floors and the fourth floor underway. Each floor takes approximately two weeks to complete, with the fifth floor expected to begin by mid-November. In the north half, the first floor is framed, the second floor is currently in progress and the third floor is scheduled to start in mid-November.

Concrete columns and footings for the skywalk bridge have been installed, with structural steel components arriving in November to connect The Foundry on 3rd to the HOM Furniture parking ramp. The arrival of windows and doors in early November will mark a significant milestone in the development process as the building continues to come to life.

The Foundry on 3rd is more than just a building; it's a community where businesses can thrive, and residents can enjoy an unparalleled urban lifestyle.
